I think the Dove Self-Esteem Fund rocks!!! Kudos to Dove for helping to change the world views of what it means to be a woman. Too much commercialism, it's so wonderful to see a company take a "real" stance.

Thanks so much for the chance to win! I would love to complete the workbooks with my daughter.

Hugs,

Thanks to Dove for keeping it real. It's nice to see. With all the air brushing being done with photos nowadays, and the dieting in hollywood, it's nice to see more real people!
I follow you and love your blog!

I love Dove especially since I have an 8 year old daughter. Girls deal with self-esteem problems much earlier than we did we were growing up. I know that even with my love and reassurance my daughter will have times she passes judgment on herself. I am encouraged and in awe of the Dove campaigns and the Self Esteem Fund.

I love the Dove campaign. It does so much for supporting women. As a high school teacher, I see so many girls who are worried about the way they look, their size, if people will like them... thank goodness one company is doing something to support them!

I love this fund!! It would be an amazing thing if Dove could really change the way young girls/women see themselves. I would LOVE to see my younger sister actually look in the mirror and be happy. Great concept!!

Problems with self esteem - I have often felt like a disappointment to my parents because I did not finish college. I feel like I have not followed the path that was planned for me.

I think the whole Dove campaign is great, especially for young girls and teenagers. My mom is a middle school counselor and my sister in law is 16 and I see everyday what our culture does to the self-esteem of these kids.

The Dove fund is taking an important step in the right direction coupled with their new add campaigns they could really make a difference.

Thank goodness for the Dove self-esteem fund. Too many women think poorly of their bodies these days.

I'm impressed with Dove for taking some responsibility in helping the demographic that they take (money) from... women. Congrats to Dove! It's a bold move that few corporate entities have bothered to consider.

I am so glad that Dove is doing the self esteem fund. Our kids (and us) are bombarded with so many negative messages about their bodies and beauty it's refreshing to know Dove is helping us to fight back!!

I think it's a great program and allows for open discussions about what women are facing these days.

As someone who has struggled with self esteem issues all her life, I think this program is amazing. When I have kids one day, I want them to be confident- I don't want them to ever feel the way I did about their bodies.

I think this is a great self-esteem program. Being a college student I know the current stress of trying to be "perfect" so sometimes we needed to be reminded that we are great no matter what.

I love the dove self esteem fund, I think Dove is so great with their self-esteem work. I have always admired their advertising campaigns and this fund seems to be an extension of that.

My problems with self esteem are seemingly endless...I have 4 sisters each one thinner and prettier than I and while that shouldn't matter in the grand scheme it's always extra hard around the holidays when we're all in the same room or, gasp, photo!

I so admire the DSEF and the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. Kudos to a company actually trying to exact some positive change in the world!

I have always struggled with self esteem issues and even now as an expectant mother I worry about how I look and what other people think about how I look...as if it matters!!

I wish this Dove self-esteem fund was around when I was a child. I think every woman should feel great about who they are and not want to change because of what society deems fit!

I have had many problems with self-esteem. I was bullied as a child and told that I was ugly and what not. This led to some personal things I did to make myself "pretty". I now have 2 girls and my greatest fear is for the feel the way I did as a pre-teen and teenager.

I think this is a wonderful program. Every woman went through some degree of difficulty at some point in their life but self-esteem issues at a young age set so much in motion. This will help young girls handle it all much better!

I really like it. I think it is awesome that a "beauty" co. that makes women fell beautiful because of themselves and not that they "need" a product to be beautiful. Jackie hotbunz81@hotmail.com

Dove is showing girls and women that there is beauty in all shapes and sizes.

The Dove Self-Esteem fund is a very clever marketing device . . . it seems to have many people actually believing that the corporation supports women. They are counting on the ignorance of their consumers when they promote themselves as valuing "real beauty" at the same time that they promote a product line (Axe) with the message that women -- beautiful women, of course -- exist only to serve men in a sexual manner.

Promoting self esteem is good, of course, but corporate hypocrisy . . . not so good.

my self esteem problems have improved since middle school, but at times I can feel ugly or not good enough compared to others. Espoecially when i see models with no pores or fat or blemishes. But realizing they arent real has helped so much!
